UPHA Scholarships
Meghan Arnold Emerging Leader Scholarship
The Emerging Leader Conference Scholarship was established in honor of Meghan Arnold, former co-President for the UPHA Student Assembly and a rising leader in public health. This scholarship recognizes emerging student leaders in Utah for their extraordinary contributions to the field of public health by funding 1 attendee to the Annual Utah Conference for Public Health, covering registration fees and hotel accommodations for 1 night. The scholarship recipient will be selected by the UPHA Conference Planning Committee. The student's university will be notified of the award.

University of Utah Graduate Student Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Graduate Student Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2005 by UPHA and the University of Utah Division of Public Health. The Fund currently awards a $500 scholarship to 1 qualified applicant each year.
Applicants must:
- Be a member of UPHA
- Be a matriculated student in the master’s or doctoral degree program in the University of Utah Public Health Program and have completed the core public health requirements with a grade ‘B’ or higher
- Complete an application form and personal statement
Scholarship recipient will be determined by a selection committee and announced at the Utah Conference for Public Health in the spring.

Westminster Graduate Student Scholarship Fund
The Westminster Graduate Student Scholarship Fund was established in 2012 by UPHA and the Westminster Public Health Program. The Fund currently awards a $200 scholarship to 1 qualified applicant each year.
Applicants must:
- Be a member of UPHA
- Be a matriculated student in the master’s or doctoral degree program in the Westminster Public Health Program and in good academic standing
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership skills and a passion for the field of public health
Scholarship recipient will be determined by a selection committee and announced at the Utah Conference for Public Health in the spring.
