UPHA's New Public Policy Advocacy System
Convio MultiCenter Services

UPHA will be implementing a new advocacy system to assist us in our public policy activities. The new system is from Convio systems, who are supporting APHA in their policy efforts. APHA recently announced it will cover the costs of the Convio MultiCenter service for ALL interested Affiliates, such as our association, for two years. UPHA has indicated we will take advantage of this exciting opportunity.

More About Convio

Convio is a database-driven technology that can support some features of our web site, email, fundraising and online advocacy efforts. APHA recently integrated Convio into their IT infrastructure and the Convio MultiCenter program, allows APHA Affiliates to send action alerts, conduct fundraising campaigns, coordinate e-mail communication with constituents, and store site visitor’s online interactions using a license of the program.

Our "Starter Convio Center” will include:

-- A web page wrapper with our Affiliate name and logo based on a common template.
-- HTML email stationary with our Affiliate name and logo based on a common template.
-- An Action Center homepage with set up of initial advocacy forms.
-- Access to the story builder feature (see http://action.tobaccofreekids.org/site/PageServer?pagename=your_stories for an example).
-- Access to up to 50 Web Pages for Affiliates who want to consolidate their entire web site on Convio.
-- The ability to preload our constituent records into the Constituent 360 Database.
-- Administrative access to our Convio Center for editing the design and content of pages, wrappers, and stationary.
